[ The first visit was full of concern and apologies from the apothecary. (Maybe a little tearful on the apothecary's end. what a sensitive soul...) Apologies and concerns for Eichi that were not accusing, at all, and more about apologizing for being unable to be there to help prevent that or to at least be there to make sure Eichi was not over working himself and taking medicine accordingly...
The past two days, Alfyn had taken it upon himself to see Eichi a little more frequently, dragon egg and all. It didn't look like he had flowers this time, but upon entering and greeting, he had taken out the dragon egg from his satchel and gently offering Eichi to hold it (like he did last two days/the last visits with the egg); Not even hesitating and trusting that this baby was in good hands, it seems, judging from the gentle smile on Alfyn's face.
...A gentle smile that looked tired and very fatigued since the first day he got the egg and it was getting harder to push aside his own fatigue. (The egg really needed chroma, it seems.) Even Alfyn's usual enthusiasm was becoming more subdued due to losing Chroma quickly. But he looked like he was still functioning. ...For now. He he did lean on that chair, offered by the hospital room, he sat in a little too heavily. ]
I think this is one of the best parts of this, for me. Seeing the egg with ya... But seeing you is the perk, most of all.
Closed to Eichi (finethanks)
